PENGARUH IKLIM SEKOLAH TERHADAP EKTIVITAS SEKOLAH DASAR SE-KECAMATAN GIRSANG SIPANGAN BOLON

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap efektivitas Sekolah Dasar se- Kecamatan Girsang Sipangan Bolon. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional, dengan menggunakan alat analisis regresi sederhana. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 guru yang mengajar di Sekolah Dasar se- Kecamatan Girsang Sipangan Bolon, dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa besaranya pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap efektivitas sekolah sebesar 0,776. Pola persamaan tersebut digambarkan dalam persamaan Y = 0.720 + 0,776X. Koefisien determinasi yang diperoleh sebesar 79,7%, artinya iklim sekolah bisa menjelaskan efektivitas sebesar 79,7% dan selebihnya dapat dijelaskan dengan variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Upaya untuk meningkatkan efektivitas sekolah adalah sekolah juga harus menjalin kerjasama atau net working dengan pihak– pihak lain, memperhatikan keberhasilan akademik dan non akademik peserta didik, kepala sekolah juga harus melakukan pengawasan secara kontinyu saat guru-guru menjalankan tugasnya, menciptakan hubungan yang baik antara guru dengan guru, guru mampu mengidentifikasikan kesulitan belajar anak, dan memberikan kesempatan bagi para peserta didik untuk mengembangkan potensinya. Abstract. This study is aimed at knowing the influence of school climate towards the effectiveness of Elementary School Teachers at Girsang Sipanganbolon. The type of study used shall be corelational study by using simple random sampling technique The sample of this study consists of 30 teachers teaching of Elementary School Teachers at Girsang Sipanganbolon using sample random sampling. The result of the study shows that there is an influence between school climate towards school effectiveness much as 0,776 . The pattern of similarity is figured in equation Y = 0.720 + 0,776X . Determination coeficient obtained as much as 79,7%, which means that the school climate can explain as much as 79,7% and the more of it can be explained by other variables that cannot be described in this study. The effort in order to improve the school effectiveness shall be that the school also has to establish cooperation or net working with other parties, paying attention to academic and non academic achievements of the students, beside the school principal also has to conduct supervision continously when the teachers are performing their duties, creating good relationship among teachers, the teachers must be able to identify the learning difficulties of children, as well as providing opportunity for students to develop their potentials.
