PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE SCRIPT TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN WACANA NARASI SISWA KELAS XI SMK TAMAN SISWA MEDAN

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran “Cooperative Script” dalam pemahaman wacana narasi siswa kelas XI SMK Taman siswa Medan . Populasi terdiri dari dua kelas dengan jumlah 60 siswa. Pada penelitian ini peneliti mengambil sampel berjumlah 60 siswa dengan menggunakan Total Sampling sebanyak 60 orang dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu  kelompok kelas kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dan kontrol yang melibatkan perlakuan berbeda antara dua kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah  Post-Test yaitu pemahaman wacana narasi dengan diberikan satu tes yang berjudul “Kabut Asap Akibat Kebakaran Hutan Sumut Kena Dampaknya”. Dari hasil pengolahan data menggunakan rumus Test Separated Varian,  diperoleh rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 73,5 dengan standar deviasi 12,1, sedangkan kelas kontrol 59,8 dengan standar deviasi 9,17. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa nilai kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Setelah dilakukan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai t_hitung=6,989 selanjutnya  disesuaikan  dengan  t_tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan dk=(n₁+n₂-2)= (30+30) – 2 = 58. Maka diperoleh taraf signifikan 5% - 2,04. Kemudian dibandingkan antara t_hitung dengan t_tabel yang diperoleh t_hitung > t_tabel yaitu 6,989 > 2,04, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha (hipotesis  alternatif) diterima yaitu menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran Cooperative Script mempunyai pengaruh terhadap pemahaman wacana narasi dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran bertukar pasangan pada siswa kelas XI SMK Taman Siswa .

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of the "Cooperative Script" learning model in understanding the narrative discourse of XI grade students in Medan Park students. The population consists of two classes with a total of 60 students. In this study researchers took a sample of 60 students using a total sampling of 60 people and divided into two groups, namely the control class and the experimental group. The method used in this study is experiment and control which involves different treatments between the two classes. The instrument used is Post-Test, which is an understanding of narrative discourse by being given a test entitled "Smoke Haze Due to the Impact of North Sumatra Forest Fire Due to Impact". From the results of data processing using the Test Separated Varian formula, the average experimental class is 73.5 with a standard deviation of 12.1, while the control class is 59.8 with a standard deviation of 9.17. Thus it can be said that the value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. After testing the hypothesis obtained the value of tcount = 6.989 is then adjusted to the table at a significance level of 5% with dk = (n1 + n2-2) = (30 + 30) - 2 = 58. Then the significance level of 5% - 2.04 is obtained. Then compared between t count and t table obtained t count> t table that is 6.989> 2.04, so it can be concluded that Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted which states that Cooperative Script learning model has an influence on understanding narrative discourse compared to learning models exchanging pairs in class students XI SMK Taman Siswa.
