Bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6068 bagi Aktivitas Probiotik dan Keamanan untuk Mengurangi Gejala Saluran Pernafasan Atas dan Pencernaan pada Anak-anak dengan Modulasi Protein yang Terkait dengan Imunitas : REVIEW

Abstract


Studi acak, tersamar ganda, paralel dan terkontrol plasebo ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efek Bacillus coagulans GBI-30,6086® probiotik (GanedenBC30®) terhadap infeksi saluran pernapasan atas (URTI) dan infeksi saluran cerna gas (GITI) di delapan puluh anak usia sekolah yang sehat (6-8 tahun). Data dikelompokkan berdasarkan perlakuan (probiotik atau plasebo) dan waktu percobaan (bulan 0 atau 3). Kemudian, outlier ekstrim diidentifikasi dengan membangun boxplot (Grafik Box & Whiskers). Menariknya, pemberian GanedenBC30 selama tiga bulan secara signifikan (p <0,05) menurunkan kadar serum sembilan protein: TNFα, CD163, G-CSF, ICAM-1, IL-6, IL-8, MCP-2, RAGE, dan uPAR, dan peningkatan kadar serum PF4 dibandingkan dengan kondisi awal, yang tidak terpengaruh dengan pengobatan placebo. Oleh karena itu, probiotik B. coagulans GBI-30, 6086 memodulasi protein yang berhubungan dengan kekebalan pada anak-anak yang sehat, mengurangi beberapa gejala URTI dan GITI, dengan demikian, bahan fungsional ini dapat berkontribusi pada gaya hidup yang lebih sehat.
