PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PRE-TEST DAN POST-TEST TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATAPELAJARAN AKIDAH AKHLAK SISWA KELAS VII MTs DARUL ILMI BATANG KUIS

Abstract


This research seeks to reveal the interaction or reciprocal relationship between students and educators in the learning process. Each lesson is characterized by a number of elements, such as the goals to be achieved, students and educators, learning materials, methods used to create teaching and learning situations, and assessments whose function is to determine how far the goals have been achieved. Therefore, this research aims to determine whether there is an influence of pretest and post-test in the student learning process in the Aqidah Akhlak subject. This research uses an experimental approach by forming two groups; namely the control group which did not use pretest and post-test, and the treatment group which used pretest and post-test on class VII students at MTs Darul Ilmi Batang Kuis. Data collection is carried out through observation, tests and documentation. The analysis used is comparative analysis using the "t" test. The research sample was 64 students at MTs Darul Ilmi Batang Kuis consisting of class VII-3 as the experimental group with a total of 32 students and class VII-5 as the control class with a total of 32 students. The results obtained from the t table are 1.67022.  Giving the pretest has a sig value.   0.027 < 0.05 with a calculated t value that is greater than t table (2.271> 1.67022) so it can be concluded that giving the pretest post-test has an effect on student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, giving the post-test has a sig value. 0.000 < 0.05 with a t count value greater than t table (3.837>1.67022) so it can be concluded that giving the post-test has an effect on student learning outcomes. Looking at the differences in scores from each group, this shows that the influence of the pretest and post-test is very significant on learning outcomes in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at MTs Darul Ilmi Batang Kuis.
