STRATEGI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER ISLAMI DALAM MENGHADAPI PERKEMBANGAN ILMU PENGETAHUAN DAN TEKNOLOGI: STUDI DI SMP BUDI SATRIA TEMBUNG MEDAN TAHUN AJARAN 2019/2020

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the character education strategy is carried out by SMP Budi Satrya Bandar Selamat, Medan Tembung District, to its students in an effort to anticipate the development of science and technology that has a positive impact. on the one hand and negative on the other. This qualitative research involved seventh grade students, several teachers and school principals. The instrument used to obtain data is by using interviews, observation and analysis of documents relevant to the object of research. The results or conclusions in this study indicates that the strategy of Budi Satrya Bandar Selamat Junior High School, Medan Tembung District in carrying out character education is classified as moderate and is as usual in educational operation. This means that the school has not taken special actions or efforts in the implementation of character education. Meanwhile, students' understanding of science and technology is quite good.
