EFEKTIVITAS METODE SUGESTOPEDIA DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR FIQH SISWA KELAS VII MTS AL-WASHLIYAH GEDUNG JOHOR MEDAN

Abstract


This study aims to determine the use of the suggestopedia method in an effort to improve Fiqh learning outcomes in students of class VII, MTs Al-Washliyah Gedung Johor Medan in the 2019/2020 academic year. The research method used is experimental and the data collection tool used is the Fiqh score test which discusses Halal and Haram Food and Drinks. The multiple-choice objective test consists of 30 questions that are tested on students in one study group after participating in learning using the suggestopedia method and conventional learning in other study groups. Calculations using the "t" test were carried out to determine the effect of the two research variables. The population is all students of class VII, totaling 118 students. The sample of research is using purposive sampling technique (purposed sample), namely class VII-1 as many as 40 students and class VII-2 as many as 40 students. Class VII-1 students were treated using the suggestopedia method as the experimental group, while students in class VII-2 were treated using conventional learning as the control group. The results showed that the experimental group students' fiqh learning using the suggestiopedia method obtained an average score of 83 in category A (very good), the learning outcomes of control group students who used the conventional method obtained an average score of 72 in category B (good). ). Based on the average score above, students' fiqh learning outcomes increased from before with a percentage increase of 15.28%.
