PENGARUH PERILAKU KEAGAMAAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP KETAATAN BERIBADAH SISWA KELAS VII SMP ERIA MEDAN

Abstract

This study aims to determine the religious behavior of parents, students' religious observance, and the influence of parents' religious behavior on religious observance of seventh grade students of Eria Junior High School (SMP), Medan. The population in this study was all students of class VII, totaling 113 students. Sampling was done by random sampling technique as many as 40 students. Research data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using statistical analysis techniques, whilefor correlation analysis using the formula r Product Moment Correlation. The results showed that the religious behavior of the parents of SMP Eria students, Medan is in the sufficient category with an average value of 61.38. Obedience to worship the students of SMP Eria Medan is classified as category C (enough) with an average score of 63.2. The influence of parents' religious behavior on religious observance of seventh grade students of SMP Eria Medan is 18.58%. This means that the religious behavior of parents makes a significant contribution to the student's obedience to worship.
