Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Islamic religious education (PAI) teachers in fostering Muslim dress ethics at MAN 2 Deli Serdang. The quantitative method used in this research is the Pre-Experimental Designs (Nondesigns) approach. The form of this research is the form of One-Shot Case Study where there is a group that is given treatment and then observed. Product moment correlation involves subjects consisting of students of class XI MIA 1, XI MIA 2, XI IIS 1 and XI IIK 2. The number of samples in this study was 89 female students. The results showed; first, the role of PAI teachers is at a high level, seen from the results of the frequency distribution of emotional intelligence data that has been distributed. Second, the dress ethics of class XI students is at a moderate level, seen from the results of the frequency distribution of the data that has been distributed where there is an average value of student dress ethics 55 and third, there is a significant influence on the role of PAI teachers in fostering dress ethics. This is known through a simple correlation hypothesis test using a significant level of 5% from N = 89, it can be stated that r-count (0.251) > r-table (0.173), so that Ha in this study can be accepted, that is, there is a significant influence between the role of PAI teachers in developing dress etiquette.
