Abstract

This research focuses on learning methods, namely the simulation method in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and how this method influences the student learning process at the Reis Cendika Percut school. The data were obtained through tests, namely pre-test and post-test, because this research is for class action through experimentation. Some of the steps taken were through an initial test to find out the abilities possessed by students in PAI lessons on fardu prayer material in class X. Based on the results obtained, improvements were made through the first cycle whose results showed that student learning outcomes had increased but had not reached maximum completeness. then the researcher continued the learning corrective actions carried out in the second cycle. Based on the pretest, 14 students (38.89%) had complete learning outcomes and 22 students (61.11%) had incomplete learning outcomes. And from the first cycle there were 29 students (80.55%) whose learning outcomes were complete and 7 students (19.44%) whose learning outcomes were complete. And from the results of cycle II there were 34 students (94.44%) whose learning outcomes were complete and 2 students (5.56%) whose learning outcomes were complete. And the results of these tests indicate an increase in student learning outcomes. Based on the learning outcomes from the pretest, first cycle and second cycle it is known that the use of the simulation method can improve student learning outcomes in PAI lessons with fardu prayer material. The increase in student learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in students' mastery of the material which is getting better from the pretest to first cycle and from first cycle to second cycle.
