IMPLEMENTASI PEMBIASAAN KEGIATAN RELIGIUS DALAM MENINGKATKAN KECERDASAN SPIRITUAL SISWA MTs MUALIMIN UNIVA MEDAN

Abstract


The aim of this research is to determine the forms of religious activities that can help increase the spiritual intelligence of students at MTs Mualimin Univa Medan along with the supporting and inhibiting factors they face. This research uses qualitative methods with data sources obtained through observation, interviews and in-depth documentation studies from related informants. The data obtained through these instruments were analyzed in such a way and the results showed that the forms of religious activities at MTs Mualimin Univa Medan include: group prayer and muraja'ah before learning begins, Dhuha prayer, Zhuhur and Asr prayers in congregation. Religious activities run well and smoothly thanks to the supervision and control carried out by teachers over students. They also always provide motivation so that they are enthusiastic about carrying out activities. Apart from this implementation, evaluation is also carried out both through observation and through attendance that has been provided. In this way, students become more active and disciplined in carrying out their obligations and have high spiritual values. The supporting factor for the application of religious culture in increasing spiritual intelligence is the existence of good interaction between teachers and students, and is also supported by good school performance. The inhibiting factors are that student interaction is not optimal, as well as cooperation between the school and the students' parents which can be said to be lacking
