PENGARUH NILAI PENDIDIKAN AKHLAK DALAM MENINGKATKAN MORAL SANTRI TINGKAT TSANAWIYAH PESANTREN MODERN AL-KAUTSAR AL-AKBAR MEDAN

Abstract


This research aims to find out how moral education influences the morals of students. The research was conducted at the class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Modern Islamic Boarding School, Medan. This research involved 46 students as sample, sources and research subjects. Research data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive-correlational analysis techniques. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained, the implementation of the Moral Education at the Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Modern Islamic Boarding School (MTs) Medan is classified as category A (very good) with an average score of 81.48. Based on the results of testing the correlation between the implementation of the concept of Moral Education and the morals of students at class VIII Tsanawiyah level of the Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Modern Islamic Boarding School in Medan, it is significant at the 95% confidence level, obtained rxy > rtable (0.959 > 0.291) categorized as a high relationship. This means that the hypothesis which states that there is a significant positive influence between moral education on the morals of class VIII students at the Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Modern Islamic Boarding School in Medan has been proven true and accepted. Thus, the implementation of moral education carried out in class VIII of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Modern Islamic Boarding School Al-Kautsar Al-Akbar Medan has a high role in improving the morale of student
