PENGARUH PENGEMBANGAN KARIR DAN KAREKTERISTIK INDIVIDU TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN DI PERUSAHAAN DAERAH AIR MINUM (PDAM) TIRTANADI PROVINSI SUMATERA UTARA

This study aims to determine the effect of Career Development and Characteristics of Individuals on Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) of Tirtanadi, North Sumatra Province.This research approach uses a qualitative approach. The object of this research is Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) of Tirtanadi, North Sumatra Province. The population used was 261 employees in the office of Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirtanadi North Sumatra Province, the method of determining the number of samples used in this study was Slovin method and the selected sample was 72 employees. The data used are qualitative data and cross-section in the form of employee performance in Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirtanadi North Sumatra Province. The regression model used in this study is a multiple linear regression analysis model carried out with the help of SPSS 24.0 computer program.The results of this study indicate that Career Development partially influences but is not significant on Employee Performance with a value of 1.994 while is 0.044 and has a significant value of 0.965. But the Individual Characteristics partially influence and significantly affect Employee Performance with a value of 1.994 while is 3.176 and has a significant value of 0.002. Simultaneously by having a value of 3.130 while 6.694 and a significant value of 0.002 which means simultaneously influential and significant.
