PERANAN PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA DAN KEWARGANEGARAAN DALAM MEMBENTUK DISIPLIN SISWA TERHADAP PERATURAN SEKOLAH DI SD SWASTA HARAPAN 2 MEDAN T.A 2018/2019

Abstract


This study aims to see the students' views on the discipline conveyed by the teacher in learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) subjects,  the level of discipline of grade IV students in complying with school regulations at SD Swasta Harapan 2 Medan, and Citizenship Education regulations in the structure of students towards students school regulations.

The population in this study were the total students of grade IV SD Swasta Harapan 2 Medan. The sample was taken as many as 40 students with details of 20 class A students and 20 class B students. The technique of determining the sample is random because the population has the same opportunity to be the sample. Collecting data technique were through interview,  questionnaire, observation and library research. Data was analyzed using quantitative analysis techniques and qualitative data.

Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the attitudes and views of students were quite good in responding to school regulations. This is reported with the discipline that students apply in their daily lives following the flag ceremony with joy and solemnity.The level of student discipline in obeying the rules is said to be quite good. This reached the student's statement that the school rules implemented at the Harapan 2 Private Elementary School in Medan had a positive effect on the learning outcomes of the Harapan 2 Private SD Students in Medan.

Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects that students learn can play a major role in shaping student discipline towards school regulations. This is in accordance with the wishes of students to follow the subject matter of discipline and direction on school regulations carried out by BP / BK teachers as well as the discipline applied by Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) teachers.
