ANALISIS FAKTOR – FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENDAPATAN IBU RUMAH TANGGA PENGOLAH BUAH AREN (Arenga Pinnata) DAN KONTRIBUSINYA TERHADAP PENDAPATAN KELUARGA

Abstract

This study aims to analyze socio-economic factors (age, length of work, number of dependents, and husband's income) on the income of housewives who process palm fruit, and examine how much the income contribution of housewives as palm fruit processors to family income in Sei Limbat Village. Selesai District, Langkat Regency. The method of determining the location using the purposive method or deliberately based on certain considerations is adjusted to the research objectives. The method of determining the sample using the census method. The number of housewives who processed palm fruit in the research area was 32 people. The data analysis method used to answer the first problem used multiple linear regression analysis, to determine the effect of the age variable. number of dependents, work experience and husband's income on the income of housewives processing palm fruit. The results showed that the effect of socio-economic factors simultaneously on all variables (age, length of work, number of dependents, and husband's income) had a significant effect on the dependent variable, the income of housewives who processed palm fruit and partially X1 = age, X3 = number of dependents, and X4 variable husband's income has a significant effect on the income of women workers. While the variable X2 = length of work has no significant effect on the income of housewives processing palm fruit in Sei Limbat Village, Finish District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. The income contribution of housewives who process palm fruit to family income is 24%, which is a small contribution family income, which is <50%.
