PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROUPLACE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA MENYAJIKAN TEKS PROSEDUR SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 15 KOTA SUKABUMI

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh faktor rendahnya kemampuan berbicara siswa khususnya dalam menyajikan teks prosedur.Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Rouplace Terhadap Kemampuan Berbicara Menyajiakan Teks prosedur Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Kota Sukabumi.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Kota Sukabumi dalam menyajikan teks prosedur sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Rouplace. 2) Mengetahui kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Kota Sukabumi dalam menyajikan teks prosedur sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Rouplace.3)Mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Rouplace  terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Kota Sukabumi dalam menyajikan teks prosedur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain “Pre Experimental Design” dengan bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 siswa. Masing-masing siswa melakukan dua kali pelaksanaan test yaitu pada saat pretest dan posttest. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan ialah berupa test, observasi dan dokumentasi.Hipotesis pada penelitian ini ialah model pembelajaran Rouplace berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berbicara dalam menyajikan teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Kota Sukabumi .Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada saat pretest sebesar 68.25.dan mengalami peningkatan pada saat posttest dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 80.25. Hasil perhitungan masing-masing tes dilakukan menggunakan uji t terhdap pretest dan posttest sehingga diperoleh hasil t_hitung9.42 > t_tabel.Hasil ini menunjukan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Rouplace berpengaruh terhdap kemampuan berbicara siswa dalam menyajikan teks prosedur.

Abstract. This research is motivated by the low factor of students' speaking skills, especially in presenting the procedure text.his study entitled "The Effect of Using Rouplace Learning Model on the Speech Ability to Present Procedure Text of Class VII Students of State Middle School 15 in Sukabumi City. His research is a quantitative research which aims to: 1) Know the speaking ability of class VII students of SMP Negeri 15 Kota Sukabumi in presenting the procedure text before using the Rouplace learning model. 2) Knowing the speaking ability of class VII students of SMP Negeri 15 Kota Sukabumi in presenting the procedure text after using the Rouplace learning model. 3) Knowing the effect of using the Rouplace learning model on the speaking ability of Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 15 Kota Sukabumi in presenting the procedure text. The research method used in this study is an experimental method with the design of "Pre Experimental Design" in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a sample of 30 students. Each student conducted two tests, namely at the pretest and posttest. The research instrument used was in the form of test, observation and documentation. The hypothesis in this study is that the Rouplace learning model has an effect on speaking skills in presenting procedure texts for class VII students of State Junior High School 15 in Sukabumi City 2018/2019. The results showed that the average value obtained by students at the pretest was 68.25. and experienced an increase at posttest with an average value of 80.25. The results of the calculation of each test were carried out using the t test on the pretest and posttest to obtain the results of tcount 9.42> t table. These results indicate a significant difference between pretest and posttest. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the use of the Rouplace learning model affects the students' speaking ability in presenting the procedure text.
