PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONSENT MINDMAP TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS BERITA SISWA KELAS VIII MTS NEGERI KOTA SUKABUMI

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh faktor rendahnya daya imajinasi siswa sehingga sulit siswa sulit menuangkan ide, pikiran atauppun gagasannya secara tertulis dalam menulis teks berita. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran secara objektif tentang ada tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks berita sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran consent mindmap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest and posttest design. Adapun jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 siswa dengan teknik penentuan sampel simple random sampling. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang peneliti lakukan adalah tes dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata siswa saat pelaksanaan pretest sebesar 1439.6 dengan rata-rata 47.9, sedangkan setelah pelaksanaan posttest sebesar 2350.3 dengan rata-rata 78.3. Hasil ini menunjukkan, adanya perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dalam pengujian statistik dengan uji-_t terhadap nilai pretest dan posttets siswa diperoleh hasil bahwa jumlah t_hitung sebesar 18.96 dan t_tabel sebesar 2.045, berati bahwa jumlah t_hitung > t_tabel, maka H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemggunaan model pembelajaran consent mindmap berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis siswa teks berita.

Abstract. This research is motivated by the low factor of the imagination of students, making it difficult for students to express ideas, thoughts or ideas in writing news texts. This research is a quantitative research that aims to obtain an objective picture of whether there is a significant difference between the ability of students to write news texts before and after being given treatment using the mindmap consent learning model. The research method used in this study is to use quantitative methods of experiment with one group pretest and posttest design research design. The number of samples in this study were 30 students with the technique of determining simple random sampling. While the data collection techniques that researchers do are tests and documentation. The results of the study showed the average value of students at the time of the pretest implementation was 1439.6 with an average of 47.9, while after the implementation of the posttest it was 2350.3 with an average of 78.3. These results indicate, there are significant differences between the results of the pretest and posttest. Furthermore, based on the results of calculations in statistical testing with t-test on the value of the pretest and posttets students obtained results that the number of tcounts is 18.96 and ttable is 2.045, meaning that the number of tcount> tttable, then H₀ is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, this shows that the use of the mindmap consenr learning model influences the students' writing ability in the news text.
