Power Flattening Desain Reaktor GFR Berbasis Bahan Bakar Uranium Plutonium Nitride (U, Pu)N

Abstract


AbstrakPada penelitian ini desain reaktor GFR 500 MWt berbasis bahan bakar uranium plutonium nitride (U,Pu)N beroperasi selama 10 tahun tanpa pengisian ulang bahan bakar. Sel bahan bakar yang digunakan adalah uranium alam dengan penambahan Plutonium 5,5%. Proses power flattening teras reaktor dilakukan dengan mengatur arah radial tiga region fraksi volume bahan bakar yaitu 55%, 60% dan 65%.  Nilai Average power density teras reaktor yang dimodifikasi adalah 28,46 Watt/cc dan power peaking factor menurun dari 2,25 menjadi 1,98.  Kata Kunci :  Flattening, GFR, Teras, Bahan Bakar
