PEMBINAAN AKHLAK BERPAKAIAN SESUAI SYARI’AT: TELAAH TERHADAP AKTIVITAS REMAJA MASJID SILATURRAHIM KELURAHAN SARI REJO KECAMATAN MEDAN POLONIA

Abstract

This research aims to explain how the activities of mosque teenagers play a role in developing morals in dressing in accordance with Islamic law. This qualitative research involved the Silaturrahim Mosque Youth Association located in Sari Rejo Village, Medan Polonia. The instruments used in data collection consisted of observations, interviews and documents. The results show that the activities of the mosque's youth are quite positive in their role, especially in developing the morals of their members, such as by holding regular weekly studies which take turns taking place in members' homes. They also hold annual activities such as commemorating Islamic holidays with religious lectures, outbound activities, holding walks and various competitions including dressing in a Sharia context. They also use sports activities as a means of approaching them in instilling akhlakul karimah values, especially manners in dressing. They discussed in the context of moral development with the aim of realizing Islamic brotherhood between them and reminded each other to behave ethically and wear Islamic clothing such as not being see-through, wearing loose clothing, not tight. In this way, the Silaturahim Mosque Youth Association plays its role in developing morals, including in dressing.
