PENGARUH AKTIVITAS MENGHAFAL QUR’AN TERHADAP KECERDASAN SPRITUAL SANTRI: STUDI DI MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH HIFZIL QUR’AN YAYASAN ISLAMIC CENTER SUMATERA UTARA MEDAN TEMBUNG TAHUN 2019-2020

Abstract


This study is to examine whether the activities of Hifzil Qur'an have an effect on increasing students' spiritual intelligence. This was done at the Central Islamic Foundation of the Madrasah TsanawiyahHifzil Qur'an in North Sumatera, Medan Tembung - Indonesia which is located on Willem IskandarPancing Street, Sidorejo Region, Medan Tembung, Medan-North Sumatera. Quantitative methods were used in this study and used questionnaires for data collection. The results show that the hifzil Qur'an program or the Al-Quran Memorization Program for the period 2019-2020 has an influence to increase the spiritual intelligence of students at the school. Evidence shows that students' spiritual intelligence arises in a number of behaviors including performing vertically to God such as praying, reading the Qur'an and horizontally such as respecting others, attention and ethical behavior with friends or teachers.
