HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEMAMPUAN HAFALAN AL-QUR’AN DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR BAHASA ARAB SANTRI TADRIS DI PONDOK PESANTREN TAHFIDZ SULAIMANIYAH SYARIEF MEDAN

Abstract


This study aims to determine the ability of students in memorizing the Qur'an and student achievement in Arabic lessons. Furthermore, to find out whether there is an influence or relationship between memorization of Qur’an and learning achievement of students in Arabic subject. The research conducted at the students of the Sulaimaniyah Syarief Islamic Boarding School, Medan. This research is a document analysis research on 37 students. Analysis of the data used is product moment correlation analysis with the terms of data normality test and regression analysis to find out how much influence memorizing the Qur'an has on students' Arabic learning achievement. The results showed that the average score of the students on the variable of memorizing the Qur'an was 80.36 while the average score of the students on the Arabic language achievement variable was 97.67. This means that the average value of students' Arabic is greater than the average value of memorizing the Qur'an. From the results of the product moment correlation analysis, the correlation coefficient value of memorizing the Qur'an on learning achievement in Arabic is 0.59 and the value of 'r' product moment objective (ro) is 0.316 at a significance level of 5%, namely the value of 'ro' is greater in terms of significance of 5%.
