PERAN TUGAS DAN WEWENANG BADAN KEHORMATAN DEWAN BERDASARKAN KODE ETIK DEWAN PERWAKILAN RAKYAT DAERAH SUMUT

Abstract

The Honorary Board as one of the Council's Equipment Tools (AKD) is an institution that deals with ethical, moral, honor and image issues for DPRD members.  The position of the Honorary Board is very important and strategic in carrying out its duties and authorities in order to realize a clean government.  So the purpose of this study is to determine the duties and authorities of the Honorary Board (BKD) in maintaining the dignity, image, and honor of DPRD members and to find out the roles, duties and authorities as well as to find out how the strategy of the Board of Honorary Board (BKD) in enforcing the regulations of the Code of Ethics  North Sumatra Provincial DPRD.  This research is juridical normative which is carried out by examining library materials or secondary data which includes primary legal materials. Then the data is analyzed juridically qualitatively, and the results of this research are the Honorary Board needs to change the mechanism that has been carried out so far in responding to allegations of ethical deviations from DPRD members by not  is passive, but proactive, which is binding and must be obeyed by every member of the DPRD.
