PENGARUH STRATEGI PEER LESSONS TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PARAGRAF PERSUASI SISWA KELAS X SMK YAYASAN PENDIDIKAN MULIA MEDAN

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan Pengaruh Strategi peer Lessons Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Paragraf Persuasi Siswa Kelas X SMK Yayasan Pendidikan Mulia Medan.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMK Yayasan Pendidikan Mulia Medan sebanyak 120 orang. Sampel diambil secara acak sebanyak 80 orang, 40 orang untuk kelas eksperimen (TKR1) dan 40 orang untuk kelas control (TKR2). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai rata-rata post tes pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,83 dengan standar devisa 8,36 dan standar error 1,32. sedangkan nilai rata-rata post tes pada kelas kontrol sebesar 69,18 dengan standar 10,17 dan standar error 1,61. Dari hasil rata-rata tersebut dilakukan uji perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen (menggunakan strategi perbelajaran peer lessons ) dengan kelas kontrol (menggunakan strategi pembelajaran grup to grup ). Dari hasil pengujian uji t diperoleh harga t_hitung = 6,413. Jika dibandingkan dengan t_tabel pada dk= 78 yaitu sebesar 1,991. Maka nilai t_hitung >t_tabel atau 6,413 >1,991, yang artinya bahwa hipotesis alternatif (ha) diterima. Dengan demikian, hipotesis yang menyatakan ada pengaruh yang signifikan strategi pembelajaran peer lessons terhadap kemampuan menulis paragraf persuasi pada siswa kelas X SMK Yayasan Pendidikan Mulia Medan  teruji kebenarannya.

Abstract. This study aims to explain the effect of peer Lessons Strategy on the Ability to Write Persuasion Paragraphs of Mulia Medan Education Vocational Class X Students. The population of this study were 120 students of Mulia Medan Education Foundation Vocational High School. Samples were taken randomly as many as 80 people, 40 people for the experimental class (TKR1) and 40 people for the control class (TKR2). The method used in this research is the experimental method. The calculation results obtained an average post test value in the experimental class of 82.83 with a foreign exchange standard of 8.36 and a standard error of 1.32. while the average post test score in the control class is 69.18 with a standard of 10.17 and a standard error of 1.61. From the average results, a difference test was carried out between the experimental classes (using peer lessons learning strategies) with the control class (using group to group learning strategies). From the results of the t-test, the price of t count = 6.413 is obtained. When compared with t table at dk = 78 that is equal to 1.991. Then the value of t count> t table or 6.413> 1.991, which means that the alternative hypothesis (ha) is accepted. Thus, the hypothesis which states that there is a significant influence on the peer lessons learning strategy on the ability to write persuasive paragraphs in Mulia Medan Education Class X Vocational High School students in the 2015/2016 Learning Year has been verified.
