PENGARUH METODE TAHSIN TILAWAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA AL-QUR’AN PADA SISWA KELAS VIII MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH SWADAYA KECAMATAN BATANG SERANGAN KABUPATEN LANGKAT

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the recitation method in the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swadaya, especially regarding the influence of the recitation method in improving the students' ability to read the Qur'an. This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swadaya, Batang Serangan District, Langkat Regency. Collecting data in this quantitative study using a questionnaire distributed to all class VIII students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swadaya as a population as well as a sample. In connection with the total population of less than 100 people, the sample of this study involved the entire population, therefore this research is also referred to as a population research. The questions raised through the questionnaire consisted of 20 question items that presented several predetermined alternative answers. So students are only asked to choose alternative answers to provide responses about the effect of the tilawah tahsin method by putting a cross (x) on one of the answers chosen. The results showed that the implementation of the tahsin recitation method in class VIII MTs Swadaya was running well and was very influential in increasing the students' ability to read the Qur'an, up to 78.4%.
