PENINGKATAN PHYSICS HOTS MELALUI MOBILE LEARNING (MOBILE LEARNING TO IMPROVE PHYSICS HOTS)

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Mobile Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi khususnya dalam pelajaran fisika yang nantinya akan disebut sebagai Physics HOTS peserta didik pada Sekolah Menengah Atas(SMA). Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi model Borg & Gall menjadi enam tahapan; pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan produk, pengembangan produk, validasi produk, evaluasi produk, dan desiminasi produk. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Manova, Multivariate Analisis of Variance bersama dengan variabel lain yang diteliti yang tidak dijelaskan dalam tulisan ini, dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan Physics HOTS peserta didik SMA dengan kategori nilai gain yang tinggi yakni sebesar 0,759 melalui penerapan Mobile Learning berbantuan android yang telah dinilai layak untuk kegiatan pembelajaran.

The aims of the research concerned here were to reveal the feasibility of android assisted physics mobile learning, and the influence of using mobile learning on improvement in SMA student’s physics HOTS. The research was of the R&D (research and Development) type, adapted from Brog and Gall development model. The research data were analyzed by means of MANOVA with the significant level of 5%. The results are follows. The developed learning media as mobile learning is appropriate for learning activity according to evaluation by experts. The use of media product could improve SMA student’s physics HOTS with the respective high-category gain scores 0.759.
