Focus and Scopes

MUKADIMAH publishes original research articles and conceptual papers in education, history, social sciences, and the humanities. The journal welcomes disciplinary and interdisciplinary contributions that advance scholarly understanding through clear arguments, appropriate methods, and critical engagement with relevant literature.

The journal covers the following areas:

1. Education

Research on teaching and learning at the elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels. Topics include experimental studies, classroom action research, instructional models and strategies, curriculum implementation, learning materials and media, assessment and evaluation, and educational research methods.

2. History

Studies of local and national history, including social, cultural, political, economic, and educational history. The journal also welcomes contributions on historical methods, source criticism, historiography, and biographies that situate individuals within their broader historical contexts.

3. Social Sciences and Humanities

Research in sociology, geography, anthropology, archaeology, cultural studies, heritage studies, political science, communication, and literature. Contributions may examine social relations, institutions, identities, cultural practices, spatial dynamics, political processes, communication, and literary expression, including the relationships between these subjects.

Submissions should demonstrate a clear connection to the journal’s scope and explain their contribution to the relevant field or scholarly debate.
