PENGARUH NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER LOKAL TERHADAP CITRA PRODUK KAPULAGA DENGAN KEPERCAYAAN KONSUMEN SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI DI DESA ORAHILI GOMO, NIAS SELATAN

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh nilai-nilai karakter lokal terhadap citra produk Kapulaga dengan kepercayaan konsumen sebagai variabel mediasi di Desa Orahili Gomo, Nias Selatan. Kapulaga merupakan komoditas pertanian unggulan yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi namun belum dioptimalkan melalui pendekatan pemasaran berbasis nilai budaya lokal. Nilai-nilai karakter lokal masyarakat Nias, yang dikenal melalui filosofi `Fondrako` (musyawarah adat), `Fangowalu` (kejujuran), dan `Si'ulu` (kepemimpinan berintegritas), diyakini memiliki potensi besar dalam membentuk kepercayaan konsumen dan memperkuat citra produk unggulan daerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksplanatori melalui survei cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah 120 konsumen Kapulaga di wilayah Nias Selatan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner tertutup berskala Likert 5 poin yang telah divalidasi oleh para pakar. Analisis data menggunakan IBM SPSS versi 25 dengan uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda, dan analisis jalur (path analysis) untuk menguji peran mediasi kepercayaan konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter lokal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepercayaan konsumen (β = 0,614; p = 0,003) dan citra produk Kapulaga (β = 0,578; p = 0,006). Kepercayaan konsumen terbukti memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara nilai-nilai karakter lokal dan citra produk (β = 0,421; p = 0,012). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa internalisasi nilai karakter lokal dalam strategi pemasaran produk pertanian dapat menjadi instrumen efektif dalam membangun kepercayaan konsumen dan memperkuat citra produk Kapulaga sebagai komoditas unggulan Nias Selatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Semester 5 Tahun 2026.
