Journal of Education Technology and Civic Literacy (JET CIVIL) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. The journal publishes original scholarly research focusing on educational technology, civic education, civic literacy, and educational studies. Its scope encompasses teaching and learning innovations, instructional media and technology, curriculum and learning material development, educational evaluation, educational research methodologies, political education, legal education, and citizenship education.
The journal welcomes conceptual and empirical studies employing qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches that address contemporary educational challenges at local, national, and international levels. Submitted manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, and relevance. Published twice a year, in April and October, JET CIVIL is committed to promoting academic integrity, advancing educational scholarship, and disseminating impactful research that contributes to technological innovation, civic awareness, and the development of educational practices.
