SELF REGULATED LEARNING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

Abstract

Abstract. Today the concept of learning mathematics has changed from giving a passive and non-contextual concept and procedure to actively constructing meaning as a result of linking new ideas to a previous understanding. The focus in mathematics education shifts from the mathematical content to how students learn mathematics effectively. This implies that students should become independent students and encourage school math programs in creating students who have self-reliance in learning. Students develop a deep understanding of mathematics learning when they can control their learning, by determining learning goals, monitoring their progress, assessing and reflecting on their thinking processes, being confident in their abilities, and eager and diligent in the face of adversity. This is the essence of Self Regulated Learning (SRL) or learning independence. The following description deals with the SRL in mathematics learning and how to measure it.

Keywords: Self Regulated Learning (SRL), Mathematics Learning
