Archiving Policy

1. Introduction

Taushiah: Jurnal Hukum, Pendidikan dan Kemasyarakatan is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly articles. This commitment aims to protect academic publications against potential data loss, technological changes, and disruptions to the journal's publishing platform.

2. Digital Preservation through PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

Taushiah utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to support electronic backup and long-term digital preservation of its published content. PKP PN provides a distributed preservation system designed to safeguard scholarly publications against permanent loss and ensure their continued preservation, even if the journal's original publishing platform becomes unavailable.

Through this mechanism, the journal supports the sustainability and long-term availability of scholarly research in the fields of law, education, and society.

3. Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and Persistent Access

To support the long-term identification and discoverability of published articles, Taushiah assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) registered through Crossref to its scholarly publications.

Each DOI serves as a persistent identifier that enables reliable identification and linking to the published article, even when its website address changes, provided that the DOI metadata and destination URL are properly maintained.

The integration of DOI registration through Crossref and digital preservation through PKP PN strengthens the journal's commitment to maintaining a reliable and accessible scholarly record.

4. Open Access and Author Self-Archiving

Taushiah publishes its articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

This license permits authors and readers to share, redistribute, and adapt published articles for any purpose, provided that appropriate attribution is given and adapted materials are distributed under the applicable ShareAlike terms.

Authors are permitted to archive the final published versions of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, and other scholarly platforms. When doing so, they should provide appropriate citation, a link to the original publication or DOI, and information about the applicable Creative Commons license.

License: Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0).

5. Preservation and Policy Review

In the event of journal discontinuation or technical disruption, content successfully deposited in PKP PN remains subject to the network's preservation and access procedures.

Taushiah periodically reviews its archiving practices to maintain consistency with developments in digital preservation, Crossref DOI registration, and international scholarly publishing standards.

Through these measures, the journal seeks to ensure that its published scholarly contributions remain identifiable, discoverable, and preserved for future generations.
