1. Introduction
Taushiah: Jurnal Hukum, Pendidikan dan Kemasyarakatan is committed to maintaining integrity, transparency, fairness, and accountability in scholarly publishing. This policy establishes the criteria for authorship, the responsibilities of authors, and the recognition of individual contributions in accordance with the ethical principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT).
2. Authorship Criteria
Authorship is limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research and manuscript preparation. To qualify as an author, an individual must:
-
Make a significant contribution to the conception, design, methodology, analysis, or interpretation of the research.
-
Participate in drafting the manuscript or critically revising its intellectual content.
-
Review and approve the final version of the manuscript.
-
Accept responsibility for their contributions and cooperate in resolving questions concerning the integrity of the published work.
Individuals whose contributions do not meet these criteria should be acknowledged appropriately, with their permission. Gift, honorary, guest, and ghost authorship are strictly prohibited.
3. Author Responsibilities and Authorship Changes
All authors must agree on the order of authorship, approve the manuscript before submission, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of their contributions.
The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal, confirming the consent of all co-authors, and ensuring the accuracy of author information.
Any changes to the authorship list after submission, including the addition, removal, or rearrangement of authors, require a written justification and agreement from all affected authors. Such requests must be approved by the Editor-in-Chief.
Authorship disputes and suspected misconduct will be addressed in accordance with COPE guidance. The journal may suspend manuscript processing until unresolved disputes are settled.
4. Author Contributions (CRediT Taxonomy)
To ensure transparency, Taushiah encourages authors to provide an Author Contributions Statement identifying each author's role using the CRediT taxonomy.
The 14 recognized contribution roles are:
-
Conceptualization
-
Data curation
-

-
Funding acquisition
-

Please turn to the CRediT taxonomy for the term explanation
Authors should identify the relevant contribution roles followed by the initials of the contributing authors. CRediT roles describe contributions but do not independently determine authorship eligibility.
Example of an Author Contributions Statement:
"Conceptualization, A.A. and B.B.; methodology, A.A.; investigation, A.A. and C.C.; formal analysis, B.B.; writing – original draft, A.A.; writing – review and editing, A.A. and B.B.; supervision, B.B. All authors have read and approved the final version of the manuscript."
5. Ethical Compliance and Accountability
All authors are responsible for ensuring the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their scholarly contributions. Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors, and their use must be disclosed when relevant to the preparation of the manuscript.
The journal reserves the right to request clarification regarding authorship and individual contributions. Allegations of unethical authorship practices will be evaluated in accordance with COPE guidance and may result in manuscript rejection, publication corrections, or other appropriate editorial actions.
