These individuals have been sending fraudulent emails to authors, particularly those who submitted manuscripts for the June 2026 and December 2026 publication periods.

The emails have been sent under the name of the Editor-in-Chief (Purwarno), and the name of the hacker himself identified as Muhammad Fahmi using the phone number 083167861855. The messages request authors to make Article Processing Charge (APC) payments to the following bank account:

Account Number: 901265161534

We hereby firmly declare that these emails are not official communications from the management of Language Literacy: Journal of Linguistics, Literature and Language Teaching. We emphasize that those messages are being sent by irresponsible hackers who are attempting to deceive our authors.

Therefore, if you receive any such communication requesting payment or other sensitive information, please disregard it immediately. We strongly encourage you to verify any suspicious correspondence through our official email address: language_literacy@sastra.uisu.ac.id
